Jammu eagerly waits for Modi’s third term as Prime Minister | KNO

Jammu, Jun 08 (KNO): As Narendra Modi will be taking oath for the third consecutive time as Prime Minister of India, Jammu is eagerly waiting for Sunday night to become part of history. It is celebration time in Jammu, which has given two Member Parliaments (MPs) for the third time and people are hoping that Jammu will get its due share. According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) PM Modi will be taking oath at 7.15 pm at Rashtrapati Bhawan and President Droupadi Murmu will administer the oath to Modi and his council of ministers. “This will be a grand celebration all across the Jammu region and we are eagerly waiting for Sunday to witness our beloved leader take oath as Prime Minister for the third time,” Ashwani Sharma, former MLA and senior BJP leader told KNO. “We are hoping that one of the MPs from Jammu will get a place in the council of ministers, which will give impetus to the development of Jammu and Kashmir in general and Jammu region in particular,” he added. During the 2024 general elections, National Democratic Alliance (NDA) got the majority with 292 seats and Narendra Modi was elected as the leader of NDA to take oath as PM for the third time. Apart from BJP, Janta Dal United led by Nitish Kumar and Telgu Desum Party (TDP) led by Chadra Babu Naidu are the two main partners in NDA and both of them are expected to get a good share in the council of ministers. Other alliance partners like Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) led by Ajit Pawar and Shiv Sena (Shinde) group will also be part of the council of ministers—(KNO)
